About MassExcellence

MassExcellence wants to help your organization be more excellent—effective, efficient, competitive, and sustainable—through the use of the proven Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence

The Criteria are the basis for the MassExcellence Performance Excellence Award and the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Through training, assessments, feedback, networking, recognition, and awards, we seek to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of jobs, organizations, and the economy.

Accelerated Results

Leaders facilitate excellence by building cultures that create and maintain systems of excellence in the organization as a whole. Well-functioning but independent parts are not enough. System excellence is not a sum of the parts. It is about excellence as a whole organization. Accelerated results flow from doing right things right.

We use the Baldrige Criteria as a Framework for:

• Improved Manageability. Employees learn how to see and connect the dots. Everyone learns how to integrate and align the needs of customers with leadership, human resources, operations and strategic planning toward getting the right results.

• Recognition—Because the Criteria includes a measurement structure, organizations can track their performance improvement over time and reward their good efforts with recognition and awards.

• Integration & Alignment of Multiple Initiatives Lean, ISO, Six Sigma, Regulatory, Legal, Clinical, Operations, Customers, Employees, Strategic Planning, Productivity, Knowledge Management.

• Organizational Stability & Innovation
How to consider everything (end-to-end scope): knowing strengths and weaknesses, and deciding what to improve and how.
