Course Description

Core to any manufacturing firm is the existence of products to manufacture and services provided in support of those products. This 4-hour module addresses key elements to getting products and services to market from initial concept through planning and delivering. It provides an overall framework for market analysis, planning, product designing, process designing, and delivering product. It focuses on the benefits of a systematic approach to development and delivery and walks through the various phases of this process.

This training module covers the development and delivery of products and services from determination of need in the marketplace to the design and realization of products ready for customers. It also connects with the process management area in that the design and the delivery are both to be seen as processes to be planned, managed, and improved.
